The A/C is broken. We figured it was something to do with the fan, being as how everything else would get going, and then right when the fan would normally kick in, you'd just hear this weird whirring noise coming from within the bowels of our HVAC unit. The timer to our water heater (one of those "Little Gray Box" things) appears to have stopped working. I base this on the fact that the_lucky_nun had to take a cold shower and screamed Tony awake with her fury.

After two days shy of three weeks, several afternoons wasted, and $217.53 (plus $20-30 in laundromat money), the washing machine is FIXED!

I am currently doing laundry.

I will have to go get more detergent and fabric softener, but at this point, that's almost a joy.

Last night, I turned on the kitchen light, it flashed, and then refused to come back on. I spent $27 to replace all the bulbs, and it still won't work. The solution? Weed whacker.
